As a Server you will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders quickly and in proper sequence, serving food and beverages for guests, coordinating with closely with our Sushi Chefs to ensure timely service and quality of food all while providing the highest quality of service to our guests with a smile!

Job Responsibilites:

– Take food and beverage orders, places orders, deliver orders, check back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction, observe guests to respond to any additional needs if possible, before asked to.

– Maintain table appearance by pre-bussing, check drink levels, remove clutter and provides adequate napkins, etc. Ensure guests feel catered to and appreciated at all times.

– Present check for payment and provide change as needed while following up on guest dining experience and making note of any improvements required to report to management.

– Follow customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures. Must be at least 18 years of age and be ProServe (AGLC) certified.

 Qualifications:

– Must be at least 18 years of age in order to serve alcoholic beverages as required by law in the province of Alberta.

– At least six months of closely related serving experience and/or work experience in a high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment is preferred

– Must be able to effectively demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

– Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs

– Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods of time in order to perform normal job functions

– Friendly disposition and positive attitude

– Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
